Postinkunabel, äußerst seltene dritte Ausgabe mit dem Kommentar Ermolao Barbaros. Zudem das erste in Pesaro von Pietro Cafa in Zusammenarbeit mit Girolamo Soncino gedruckte Buch. - Eines der bedeutendsten antiken Werke zur Geographie. In seinem Werk beschreibt Mela eine Schiffsreise mit Sehenswürdigkeiten und Inseln, gibt topographische Einzelheiten, betrachtet Fauna und Flora, stellt Einwohner vor und berichtet von ihren Sitten und Gebräuchen (besonders ums Mittelmeer).
EINBAND: Pergamentband des frühen 20. Jhs. mit Buntpapierbezug. Kl.-4to. 22,5 : 15 cm. - KOLLATION: Bll. 2-34. - ZUSTAND: Ohne das erste Blatt mit Titel. - Zu Beginn etw. braunfl., in der unteren rechten Ecke leicht sporfleckig und mit kl. Randläsuren.
