Album amicorum of the Altmark stirps of the Bismarck family, some two generations before Otto von Bismarck. Among the numerous entries by the family and the local gentry is also one by the notorious poisoner Charlotte Ursinus (née Weiß; 1760-1836), who was accused of having killed her husband Theodor Ursinus in 1800, an ant in 1801 and even a lover of hers as soon as in 1797 with arsenic. - Slightly stained, binding slightly shaken. Covers rubbed and scuffded.
Album amicorum of the Bismarck family about two generations before the famous Prussian politician. Amongst the entries of family members and friends of the local noble families also an entry of the notorious murderess Charlotte Ursinus, who was convicted of poisoning her aunt and trying to poison a servant with arsenic, but was also suspected to have killed her lover and her husband before, all during the years 1797-1803. Contemp. cardboard. - Slighty stained, binding slightly shaken. Covers rubbed and bumped.
