• Wesselmann's erotic and provocative female nudes are considered icons of American Pop Art.
• In the 1980s, a new model, Monica Serra, a young artist with characteristic bangs, appeared in his works.
• Most recently, the Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris presented the successful exhibition “Pop Forever: Tom Wesselmann &..,”.
