• Warhol translates the famous Renaissance painting by Piero della Francesca (National Gallery Washington, D.C.) into the language of pop art
• As an extraordinarily productive artist, Warhol deals with film, photography, painting, music and performance - but the screen prints become emblems of his postmodern aesthetic.
