Since 1960 Hermann Goepfert has been using bent pieces of metal to employ light as a means of artistic creation. The interplay of polished and brushed material allows various ways of interpretation or the concept of light and space.[EH].
Works by the artist are in possession of, among others, the Kunstmuseum Krefeld, the Karl-Ernst -Osthaus-Museum, Hagen and the Deutsche Bank Collection.
