Cast by Hermann Noack, Berlin 1951 (with blindstamp), after a gypsum model made in 1920 . Friedrich Schult, who had been a friend of Ernst Barlach since 1914, was the artist's estate administrator in the 1950s. There are no bronze casts in existence that were made during the artist's lifetime. [KP].
