Showing Romulus, Charlemagne, Hannibal, Barnabas, Cosimo de Medici, Christoph Columbus, Charles V., Henry II. and many more. - Interleaved copy. - Fingerstained, somewhat foxed in places, with entries by an old hand, text pages with marginal defects, 1 plate with mended blemish in the image and large defective spot in the lower quarter, 3 plates with small corner tear-off (2 mended), title and endpaper stamped, title newly mounted and with defective spots (little loss of printed matter). Binding rubbed, edges scraped and bumped.
