EINBAND: Halblederbände der Zeit mit Rückenvergoldung. 23,5-21,5 cm : 19-18 cm. - ILLUSTRATION: Mit 13 gestochenen Titeln und 311 kolorierten Kupfertafeln (st. 312). - ZUSTAND: Mischexemplar, Einbände und Erhaltung daher leicht variierend. - Fehlt die Tafel 241 nebst Erläuterungsbll. (in Kopie beilieg.). - Vereinz. stockfleckig (meist der gest. Titel), 3 Bände etw. gebräunt und tls. minim. fleckig, 1 Tafel gelöst, Bd. I ohne typogr. Titel; sonst innen sauber und breitrandig. Einbände etw. berieben, Gelenke vereinz. brüchig, 1 Rücken mit restaurierten Fehlstellen. - PROVENIENZ: Titelei meist mit gestempeltem oder handschriftlichem Besitzeintrag, einzelne Bände mit Exlibris.

Contemp. half leather with gilt spine. - Mixed set from different copies, bindings and condition slightly varying. - Lacking plate 241 with corresponding text leaves. - Here and there foxing (mostly affecting the engr. titles), 3 vols. somewhat browned and minim. stained, titles mostly with stamp or inscription, few vols. with bookplate. Else inside clean and with wide margins. Bindings a bit rubbed, few joints brittle, 1 spine with restored defects.(R)
