The spilled picture-silkscreen was made in context of a 3-day festival in the early 1980s. Initially, the silkscreen was supposed to be printed on a flag, since the project was discarded, only a very few trial proofs of the spilled picture-silkscreen are in existence today. Hermann Nitsch, who had completed five years of training at the 'Graphische Lehr und Versuchsanstalt' in Vienna, uses the silkscreen as part of the conception for an orgy-mystery-theater.
