Dated "23.5.12" lower right. With blindstamp "Estate of George Grosz". With number "21" in blindstamp on verso as well as with estate stamp. On checkered sketch paper, lower edge with perforation. 16,3 x 10,4 cm (6,4 x 4 in), size of sheet.
The drawing originates from a sketchbook from 1912 and was intended for use as print addition in the de-luxe edition of the oeuvre catalog "George Grosz. Das druckgraphische Werk" by Alexander Dückers in 1979. [KP].
This work will be included into the forthcoming catalog raisonné of works on paper, which is prepared by Ralph Jentsch, Rome.
